Adobe takes pride in making its world-class Creative Pro tools and services accessible to students and believes in providing valuable opportunities to showcase their work. With the challenges the world is facing today, the need for creative ideas has never been greater and when students can become creators of digital content, they can amplify their ideas and increase impact.

“We are seeing a new generation of modern designers emerge today with more cross-media expertise than ever,” said Tacy Trowbridge, worldwide manager of education programs, Adobe. ”Supporting them with the tools and services they need within the Creative Cloud is our top priority as is showcasing their creative work through a prestigious platform like ADAA.”

Attracting more than 27,000 student participants from 75 countries around the world since its inception in 2001, the ADAA highlights the powerful convergence of technology and the creative arts. For the fifth consecutive year, ADAA is being co-sponsored by Icograda – the International Council of Communication Design – who helps identify and qualify international design experts to judge the competition.

“Icograda shares Adobe’s commitment to fostering creativity among students. Our mission is to ensure the next generation of designers is confident, perceptive and multidisciplinary professionals,” said Marilena Farruggia, managing director, Icograda. “We hope students from around the world will seize this opportunity to showcase their work and win this year’s awards which include attendance at the 2013 IDA Congress in the inspiring, art-rich city of Istanbul.”
